Our adult programs for senior citizens 55+ are dedicated to empowering the mature generation in everyday uses of technology, devices, apps, and more to improve their safety, confidence, and ways to connect with friends, loved ones and health care professionals.
Closing the digital divide for seniors 55+
BabyBoomer Tech Program offers an accessible, enriching environment in which seniors share in a hands-on process of learning their devices, safe ways to access the internet, unique experiences with technology designed for seniors 55+, and an introduction to apps and telehealth opportunities.
We currently offer several types of programs, from single 60-minute workshops up to 8-week courses that are available on-site or virtually.
Participation in these programs are both provided for the general public in hosted public spaces, as well as offerings customized for seniors who attend programs at our community partner's facilities.
Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company is an award-winning nonprofit serving families, youth and adults through project-based learning activities in everyday public spaces to close the gaps of education equity.
To help close the digital divide for seniors 55+ we work with local active adult communities, YMCAs, senior groups, community centers, nursing homes, libraries, churches, as well as parks and recreation centers, to provide daytime, evening and weekend programs.

Year-Round Classes
Our year-round ongoing classes empower seniors 55+ to learn about specific everyday uses of their devices including speech-to-text, how to use email, how to navigate their smartphone marketplace for apps, and more!
Classes are available for 1 day, in 2 hour segments. Classes can be customized for groups, or as mini camps or workshops.

Workshops
During workshops, we set up Seniors 55+ for success by coordinating them to participate in project-based activities and group discussions related to topics and activities including internet safety, how to pair bluetooth technology, how to use telemedicine devices and apps, and navigating social media sites like Facebook
Our workshops are scheduled on a rolling basis throughout the year. Workshops can be designed for particular themes and customized for our community partners.

Mini-Camps
Our Mini-camps are theme-based programs that are consecutive 5 days a week workshops dedicated to providing fun activities using devices that will encourage seniors to explore, learn, and gain confidence using technology. Perfect for senior centers and faith-based institutions looking for an activity for a group.
Our mini-camps are offered as half-day programs (3 hours per day). The same seniors attend the camp for the entire week.

Senior Town Halls
In partnership with local government agencies dedicated to advancing the aging population, Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company hosts senior townhalls to listen and understand the challenges, unique concerns, and needs that seniors 55+ and their caretakers have around a range of topics.

Our COVID19 Response to Seniors 55+
We all must do our part to stay safe, stay healthy, and stay informed.
That's why Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company has partnered with local small business owners to empower our ability to donate reusable masks to at-risk seniors 55+ in the following Georgia counties:
