Rooted in integrity and driven by purpose, Josette Hutton Evans brings unapologetic leadership to the front lines of community advocacy, place-based outreach, education, equity, and innovation. She stays accountable to the people she serves—not the status quo—and proudly steers Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company with a commitment to community voice over politics, collaboration over competition and impact over ego and operating in silos.
Josette Hutton Evans is a builder of bold solutions and a seer of what’s possible. With a background in tech, public health, and nonprofit leadership, she reimagines how we educate, mobilize, and care for one another. Her vision for Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company turns transformation into a blueprint—one that’s practical, scalable, and deeply personal to her core values.
Over the past 22 years, those 3 bold words have come alive in our mission as we become the catalyst of curated experiences for everyone we engage to receive resources that allow them to become the best versions of themselves.
Welcome to Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company—where everyday places become portals of possibility, and transformation is more than a goal—it’s a lifestyle rooted in dignity, respect, and embracing diversity as a strength to build a thriving community.
I’m Josette Hutton Evans, Founder and CEO, and I started this nonprofit with one clear vision: to create learning ecosystems that meet people exactly where they are while curating solutions to big and small barriers to historically underserved populations accessing education and health equity. What began as a passionate spark of mine in college has grown into a multigenerational movement rooted in education equity, innovation, and community healing.
At Metamorphasis, we believe in the power of showing up—in classrooms, on front porches, at bus stops, retail spaces, libraries, and in city parks. Whether we’re turning a shuttle bus into a Mobile Academic Classroom or installing book vending machines in local barbershops, our mission is simple: to remove barriers and reimagine access.
We serve not just students, but entire families. Not just communities, but cultures. And we do it by centering human dignity, creativity, and belonging in all that we build. Because when people are empowered to evolve, encouraged to strive, and given the tools to thrive—there’s no limit to what we can achieve together.
We envision a world where everyone- regardless of their zip code, has access to a quality of life worth living.
Thank you for being part of this journey. The future is already in motion, and you’re standing at the center of it. Hop aboard. It's time to get in the driver's seat of our future together.
With purpose and power,
Josette Hutton Evans
