I registered for a Google Certificate course but haven’t received the confirmation email.

The confirmation will be sent from Coursera and may land in your spam folder. Be sure to check spam, but if you haven’t received the confirmation within 48 hours, please message learn@metincpowerco.org to resolve the situation. Invites are sent out daily, Monday through Friday.

Can individuals under 18 participate in the certificate program?

While there is no specific age limit to study these courses according to Google, they are hosted on Coursera, which requires users to be at least 13 to have an account. For the safety of minors participating in group forums on the Coursera platform, we strongly recommend and only accept students 16yrs+ with parental consent in our community program.

I signed up for a certificate course and was prompted to sign up for a 7-day trial or pay for Coursera. What should I do?

This scholarship program does not make all courses on the Coursera platform free. The list of free courses and certificates can be found in the list provided on our website and during orientation. If you search for courses outside of the curated list "MPC Workforce Development Program" or a MPC approved partner program, you will see courses outside of the sponsored courses that are on the main Coursera platform and have a cost. If you attempt to sign up for a course before receiving your invitation from your scholarship selection, you will also be prompted to pay.

I receive an error message: “You don’t have access to this content. If you need access, please contact your organization for assistance.”

This is likely due to not signing up with the emailed invite link, or signing up for a course outside of the free courses that are part of this program. If you are having trouble resolving the issue, please attend our Technical Support Tuesdays drop-in service via Zoom, or reach out to help@metincpowerco.org to resolve the situation.

Eligibility & Residency

This specific enrollment program is reserved for residents of the State of Georgia within the service footprint of Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company. Some components of our program is grant-funded and zipcode or county specific, and additional areas outside of these subsidized areas may incur an additional cost post 6-month completion period. If you live outside of Georgia: Please visit the official Grow with Google website to find enrollment opportunities available in your area.

Privacy & Data Sharing

To provide you with access to these professional certificate courses, please be aware that your full name and email address will be shared with Coursera and Google for the sole purpose of creating your learning account and granting you access to the platform. Any additional information collected in the sign up form (such as demographic data or feedback) will be anonymized. This data is used strictly for statistical reporting and to help us improve the program for all Georgia learners.

Important info about scholarship application and program license availability, accountability and attendance

Creating meaningful impact through our program partnership is a vital component of our mission at Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company.

Limited space is available (and filling up fast!) for each cohort, if there is no space available during the scholarship application period, you will be added to the waitlist and invited if/when space becomes available.

Filling out the form and receiving your email invitation to join the program as a scholarship recipient does not guarantee your spot, joining the program and enrolling in a course is required to secure your license.

Beginning in 2026, If your account becomes inactive/idle for over 30 days your license and access to the program will be revoked and you will have to re-apply for a scholarship to gain access again. Any progress you have made in your enrolled courses will be saved.

If your enrollment extends past your 6 months (180 days) by an additional 60 days without completion, a nominal administrative fee of $15/month to Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company will accrue to your account and invoiced to your email on file. This ensures both participant and our organization maintains compliance with the Google Grow With Google Partnership requirements and your license for completion is not in jeopardy. Failure to pay the administrative fee will result in revocation of your scholarship.
